Hillary Clinton has been described as the smartest woman in the world by some and a sociopath by others. I’m not sure I can vote accurately either way, but I do think she is scripturally challenged. She recently jumped into the fray concerning the millions of illegal aliens in the America.
Our elected officials have managed to ignore the multiple problems with illegal aliens for many years. However, the House of Representatives in Washington finally passed a bill in December with some teeth in it to crack down on illegals and those who assist them. Just about the time the Senate gets ready to debate the House bill there were hundreds of thousands of pro-illegal alien demonstrators who hit the streets at several large cities in America to protest.
Estimates are that about one million demonstrators, mostly Hispanic, were in the streets. Even though many of these demonstrators were waving Mexican flags, Hillary apparently saw them as potential voters in the 2008 elections in the good ole USA. I don’t know if Hillary was just trying to be relevant or perhaps desperate when she evoked the name of Jesus as she criticized the House bill. I guess you could say she was playing the Jesus card. She said it “is certainly not in keeping with my understanding of the Scriptures, because this bill would literally criminalize the Good Samaritan and probably Jesus himself.” In all fairness to Hillary with her ridiculous statement she did say “my understanding of the Scriptures.” Grain of salt, right?
If we look carefully at Hillary Clinton’s opinions about homosexuality, abortion and truth telling it becomes difficult to listen to her talk about her understanding of Scriptures. If you believe she has a good understanding of the Scriptures, you might also believe the greeter at your local Wal-Mart is an accomplished brain surgeon in his other job.
